After the Internment Camps
Around 120,000 Japanese-Americans were taken out of their homes and put in internment camps. After much resistance, court battles and presidential action the whole thing was put to an end. Now you may be wondering what happened after they were freed. Well when they were feed they were issued 20,000 dollars and a formal apology. After this Japanese people were hoping to express how American they are to prove that they stand with the United States over japan. This helped change Japanese Culture to be more American in the future.
